This last week I have been working on a few custom orders. On etsy I got a request for an 18th month old version of a baby dress I had on sale. So I adjusted my pattern and sent that out.

Here is my readjusted pattern

It turned out really cute.
My cousin also asked me and my friend
Jenn to make a custom piñata for her little boys birthday party. His party is going to be Mexican themed so we decided to make a taco piñata.
We made the shape out of cardboard, leaving an opening for candy. And then we decorated it. |
We added meat, tomatoes, olives, lettuce and cheese out of tissue paper. |
We even made a sombrero!!! We decided to add a face to make it a little more kid appropriate. I am really happy with how it turned out.
I also have been asked to make wrap skirts. So this week I started working on patterns for that. I want them to be one size, but I am thinking now that I might make two sizes, one being s/m and the other m/l just to save fabric and make them not as bulky.
I found this really awesome lip fabric from a thrift store and thought it was perfect for Valentine's Day. This skirt is an one size fits all, but it is leaning towards the M/L side. |
I'm super happy with how this turned out. It is available on Etsy.

This is another wrap skit I made from a tapestry a friend gave me. This one is more of a S/M
Over all I am pretty happy with my week. I want to get more wrap skirts complete and piñatas made so stay tuned.
xoxo
