Bottle of Bread

I have new merchandise at my friend Mo's shop Bottle of Bread in Baltimore. Her shop is super cute and I always get myself into trouble when I go in there! Here are shots of her shop.
She has the cutest vintage shoes and bags
I love her vintage suitcases and flight bags.

She also sells local artists work.

Here is Mo going through some of my clothes to put into the shop.

I bought these goodies!

If you are in Baltimore make sure you check out this gem!

May 2014 Show at Venus on the Half Shell

I just hosted another Fancy Dress Party, Pop-Up shop May 3rd at Venus on the Half Shell
My event was super successful, and I couldn't be more thankful to my bosses who let me host it at their shop, and my family and friends who came out to support me. For those of you who missed it, here are some photos to re-cap the event!!!!

I made frames from scratch and framed some vintage embroidery.

Here is a view of my table. I made make-up bags, head-bands, pillows, bow ties, crocheted lanterns, and a crop-top made out of a vintage He-Man sheet my buddy Kevin gifted me.

Getting ready for the window display!!!

I am setting up the window display tonight for my show on Saturday. Here are a few thing in the works....

I'm making some bright hoops to hang out of vintage scarfs.

I'm using my scraps to make some garlands to add some pops of color to the display.

I've also been making some pillows and stuffed animals to add in there.

Stay tuned, I'll have the window up tonight, I hope you enjoyed the sneak peak!

Spring Pop-Up Shop

Sorry I haven't blogged recently, I have been getting ready for my upcoming show May 3rd at Venus on the Half Shell. Here is a sneak peak of what I have been up to!
This is one of my new dresses in the works. I used vintage fabric for this cute summer piece.
I'm working on a lot of different style cropped tops for the show. The top one is an off the shoulder made out of a vintage He-Man sheet. The bottom is a funnel neckline made out of a vintage inspired floral print.
I've been making a few sweet heart neckline summer dresses. The top is a mid calf length and the bottom is a maxi. I used vintage fabric for the top dress and the orange skirt on the bottom is from India, my friend Jen brought that back for me :)
And of course there will be more yo yo garlands and hanging crotcheted lanterns. Make sure you make it out to my show May 3rd, I hope you enjoyed the sneak peak!!
